National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)

LOGISTICS 2020 provides agile, responsive, and comprehensive end-to-end logistics capabilities and expertise to NGA. The scope of our support has been to provide deployment and sustainment capabilities to include: 1) plan development and execution; and 2) in-theater and strategic movement of NGA and Intelligence Community (IC) personnel and assets who support ongoing war fighter missions and national strategic operations.

We provide logistical planning and coordination with all entities involved to ensure mission accomplishment and success. We ensure deploying staff and materials are expedited through the DoD and commercial airlift systems while providing in-transit visibility (ITV) to NGA. LOGISTICS 2020 coordinates billeting arrangements and all sustainment requirements for transiting and deployed NGA/IC staff. We provide local transportation for in-transit NGA/IC personnel to military and commercial air terminals. Additionally, our personnel provide all supply support services to include arms room and procurement support (from both local and worldwide vendors).

Some key successes that we have accomplished have been:

• Establishing a responsive logistics support network (both local and worldwide) for personnel and materiel/equipment to support NGA/IC agencies.
• Planned, developed, and currently operate OCONUS collaborative logistics and deployment platforms. Our team established the infrastructure for vehicle and air travel support; air and ground cargo operations; transient bed-down support; and supply and maintenance support.
