As the Government, Military, and Civilian footprint has expanded throughout the world, specifically throughout CENTCOM, DIA Strategic and Logistics PlanningDIA’s requirement for mission critical, deployment, and planning support has increased. DIA’s missions continue to have the need for advanced deployment capabilities that enable all deploying personnel to be more strategically responsive and operationally agile. Since June 2007, LOGISTICS 2020 has been providing operational oversight support to Global Deployment Operations, Deployment Force Management, Readiness and Exercise Management, Administrative, and Automated Information Management (AIT) for DIA Deployment Operational requirements.

Operations Oversight and Management Support

  • Monitor, receive and track all forms of emerging communications pertaining to DIA current operations
  • Draft and staff required management reports, briefings, informational papers, and Power Point presentations as required
  • Provide staffing and administrative support to working groups

Operations Planning and Exercise

  • Assist in executing operational plans and exercises
  • Provide operational planning to assist in the planning and development of all operational and exercise requirements to be supported in global war plans

Readiness Program Support

  • Provide operational planning to DIA in the planning and development of readiness platforms/capabilities to support all operational plans
  • Facilitate and coordinate with all DIA Divisions to ensure readiness requirements are documented and inserted in all necessary OPLANS
