History

The culmination of the vision of two retired Army officers, LOGISTICS 2020, INC. was established in October 2000 and awarded its first contract in May 2003. The contract required the deployment, within a 30 day timeframe, of 11 personnel to Iraq to provide logistics support to the Iraq Survey Group (ISG). We were able to deploy those personnel in 21 days. LOGISTICS 2020’s guiding principle of “blue-ribbon” service soon became the standard, and as the Intelligence Community’s presence in Southwest Asia expanded, so did the logistics requirements. By the end of 2003, the requirement for 11 personnel had increased to 44, to include not only Iraq but also Qatar and Kuwait. Since then, our presence has increased to include strategic locations in Afghanistan and the United States. The company has grown from the initial 11 employees in May 2003 to 125 as of June 2008.
