Duncan A. Thomasson

Lt. COL (Ret) Duncan “Andy” Thomasson, Vice President and Co-Owner, was born in Fordyce, Arkansas in 1946 and remained in Arkansas until 1969. Upon graduating from Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Mr. Thomasson was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army and served until January 1989.

After completing his service as the Battalion Commander of the 548th Corps Support Battalion, 18th Airborne Corps at Ft. Drum, New York, Mr. Thomasson retired from the military and relocated to Richmond, Virginia.

In October 2000 while working as a DoD contractor conducting the Joint Test and Evaluation, Joint Theater Distribution for the Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, Mr. Thomasson and long-time colleague Michael Topp formed LOGISTICS 2020.

Following the first contract award to LOGISTICS 2020 in May 2003, Mr. Thomasson led the initial group of LOGISTICS 2020 personnel to Baghdad, Iraq. Mr. Thomasson remained for one year and then returned to the corporate headquarters to take an active role in management of the Company.
